Sister-songstress duo Chloe x Halle just dropped their debut album and I am grateful for it.
Though I am a weekly watcher of the show Grown-ish, I am now ashamed to say that a glimpse of their YouTube covers and the theme song was all I had listened to from the group. After seeing several friends tweet raving about the album and having it sent to me multiple times, I had to check it out.
AND I AM BEYOND GLAD I DID. This album is SO GOOD, I almost couldn't believe it.
Not only can these girls sing and harmonize beyond beautifully, the production is flawless, and every song is well-written. Also, they can also RAP?! (per "Hi-Lo" featuring Goldlink)
All in all, "The Kids Are Alright" was beyond a pleasant surprise and I can't wait to keep blasting this album everywhere I'm at until everyone I know has heard it.
